ROBOTICS Classes & Workshop and The ROBOTIX Experience Upcoming ROBOTICS Classes & Workshops will use California Science Standards to create Robots, Robotic Creatures & Robotic Vehicles. Goals and Objectives will be created by setting Tasks using ROBOTIX Kits. Kids will have an opportunity to realize the importance of Math, Science and Engineering and have a great deal of fun BOTH Individually and in a Team or Group environment. ROBOTIX is the Space-Age, Motorized, Modular Building System originally designed and produced by Milton-Bradley in 1984 and passed on to Learning Curve Toys from 1994 until 2001. ROBOTIX has helped children of all ages to create, develop, be educated and be entertained. All ROBOTIX Sets and Parts (Past, Present & Future) are fully interchangeable and fully expandable with ALL Past, Present and Future ROBOTIX. The complete Library of ROBOTIX Parts is also available on our website at the ROBOTIX Parts Catalog link. You will find that The ROBOTIX Experience has been extremely successful nationwide with its outstanding Curriculum Development Programming opportunities. ROBOTICS & THINGS offers a program that presents numerous interesting, enlightening and entertaining alternatives for "Elementary, Middle and Junior High School" programming. All our ROBOTIX Educational Learning Sets & Parts are perfect for any type of "Hands-On, Interactive, Demonstration and/or Combination programming situations". We are members of both the CSTA (California Science Teacher's Association) and the NSTA (National Science Teacher's Association). ROBOTIX is being used by Home, Gifted/Talented, Elementary, Middle, Junior High, Senior High, Junior College, 4-Year College/University, Engineering and Graduate Schools plus numerous Clubs, Groups and Associations worldwide. ROBOTICS & THINGS was granted Licensing by Caltech/JPL for the initial Development, Production, Marketing and Sales of the ROBOTIX Mars Exploration Rover (MER). The Basic Unit includes a WHITE BOX BULK PARTS Program that we have created with Remote Control (27 MHz or 49 MHz with 2-Part Controller and Receiver Unit) for the MER Model. Programming for Classes and Workshops include the use of a Mars Terrain Landscape to assist in the development and functionality of ROBOTIX creations. Examples of Educational Programming include: We have become much more involved with In-Class and Out-of-Class (After-School) Curriculum programming with the exclusive use (Exact Same Kit for all Students or Attendees or Participants) of ROBOTIX Bulk Parts, Motors & Cables with Workshop-type scenarios as the basis of student involvement. We program a variety of tasks with the creation of designated goals and objectives based on demographics (age and/or grade level and/or proficiency, etc.) and Individual, Team or Group situations. We have continued the selection of the R-5000 Robot Commander (5’ High) and/or the ROBOTIX Crocosaur (6’ Long) as the ultimate ROBOTIX Sets for team and group efforts. BOTH the Commander and Croc use the separation of each team or group by major body parts for the programming of whatever functionality opportunities are available through the creative process. “BattleBot” Competitions have also continued to be an integral part of all workshops as attendees feel a pure sense of accomplishment individually as well as with a team and/or group effort. At this time, we are in the midst of scheduling "new" ROBOTICS Classes & Workshops at Sophie’s Education Corner in the Palm Plaza (Next Door to 24-Hour Fitness) at 2699 Thousand Oaks Blvd in Thousand Oaks. The Tuition for our ROBOTICS Classes & Workshops include a ROBOTIX Kit that the kids will use throughout all our ROBOTICS programs.
